Sean McDermott's defense has been firing on all cylinders after a shaky start to the season against the New York Jets. Terrel Bernard has shown in limited time that he can be the middle linebacker of the future, and the defensive line is getting home despite not having Von Miller.

Then there's the offense, Josh Allen looked a bit scrambled against the Jets but has since found his footing and is one of the league leaders in completion percentages. The superstar QB has spent his career silencing critics and the past few weeks have been just that.

With Vic Fangio calling the plays on defense, history suggests that Allen may be able to flip the script on the Dolphins. Specifically, the last time Allen faced a Fangio-led defense, it didn't end well for the defense.

Allen dominated the Denver Broncos to the tune of 28 completions for 359 yards, two rushing touchdowns, and two passing touchdowns, gashing the defense on the way to yet another AFC East crown for Buffalo.

Fangio will need to bring his A-game in order to shut down the elite QB in Buffalo, with the Bills Mafia behind him in full force. Allen has been dominating the Dolphins since entering the league but the past few seasons Mike McDaniels has built a team that has seen great improvements.

Josh Allen, earlier this week, asked the Bills Mafia to show up and be loud, don't let your QB1 down.
