The New Orleans Saints have an NFC showdown on their hands with a former coach of theirs in Week 13. Dan Campbell and the first-place Detroit Lions will visit the Superdome.

New Orleans has lost two games in a row, while the Lions are 3-2 in their last five bouts. The Saints are in second in the NFC South, and the Lions sit in first in the NFC North.

How can you watch Sunday's matchup for the Saints?

  • WHO: Detroit Lions (8-3) @ New Orleans Saints (5-6)
  • WHEN: Sunday, December 3rd at 12 P.M. (CST)
  • WHERE (on TV): FOX
  • Betting Odds: Lions -4, Over/Under 45.5

Detroit is a four-point favorite on the road. The Saints' home turf used to be one of the most intimidating in the NFL, but they are just 2-2 in New Orleans this season. The Lions are 4-1 on the road this season.

The Saints are middling on offense. They're 13th in total yards per game and 18th in points per game. The Lions are a high-flying offense with a balanced rushing attack. They are 2nd in total yards per game and 7th in points per game.

New Orleans possesses a top ten defense in totality on paper, but their pass defense is clearly superior to their run defense. Detroit has a top five rushing defense, but their passing defense is 20th in yardage per game.

New Orleans desperately needs a victory to get back to .500, but it is hard to project one against a gritty, talented Lions team.
