The Cincinnati Bengals will officially have back-to-back home games in a span of six days next month.
The NFL has confirmed that Cincinnati's Week 15 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings will kick off at 1:00pm ET on Saturday, December 16; the first a three-game slate that day.
This game was originally scheduled to be played on that Saturday, but was subject to chance depending on how the season unfolded. The league opted to keep it on Saturday despite both teams playing backup quarterbacks with their respective starters out for the year.
Joe Burrow vs. Kirk Cousins? More like Jake Browning vs. Josh Dobbs. This is likely the reason for the 1pm kickoff instead of a later time that day.
In total, the Bengals will have five games in the month of December. Here's how it looks as of now, though
