During the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions matchup in Week 13, an incident occurred early on that caught social media on fire.
On an option run by Derek Carr, he tossed a pitch out to Alvin Kamara. The Saints running back was forced out of bounds.
As he slowed along the sideline, there was a collision with a member of the chain gang. The chain gang member was noticeably injured. Now, we know that his name is Nick Piazza.
According to reports, he suffered a dislocated knee. Luckily, the belief is that Piazza will not require surgery.
