The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Wednesday that they have opened the 21-day practice window for veteran wide receiver Quez Watkins.

This means that he could make his return from the Injured Reserve as soon as Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Watkins entered the 2023 season as the Eagles No. 3 receiver but a hamstring injury that he suffered in October kept him limited to just three games. He only just 4 catches for 21 yards on the year so far.

If he is available on Sunday, the timing would be perfect considering the Eagles' wide receiving group is dealing with some injuries during the short turnaround.

A.J. Brown (thigh) and Julio Jones (knee) were both listed on the Eagles' first injury report on Wednesday. The Eagles held just a walkthrough, so we'll know how serious those injuries are today after they have regular practice.

Either way, Watkins' return is a boost for the Eagles as they head toward NFL playoffs.
