The Miami Dolphins will be without one of its biggest offensive stars on Friday against the New York Jets.

The Dolphins released their list of inactive players, and among them included rookie RB De'Von Achane.

Achane suffered a knee injury on October 8 against the New York Giants.  The injury required the team to place him on the injured reserve list.  Achane returned last week in the Dolphins' 20-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, but quickly left the game after tweaking the knee again and did not return. He was limited in practice for all three sessions, but ultimately the Dolphins are taking the long game in getting him back from that knee issue.

Guard Robert Jones also is inactive, but as he was listed as doubtful for the contest, that move was expected.

The Dolphins and Jets meet for the first time this season on Friday.  Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm ET from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
