Bryce Young is doing something he hasn't done in his football career against the Tennessee Titans.
The No. 1 overall draft pick is facing Will Levis, an SEC foe whom Young managed to dodge during his tenure as Alabama's signal caller.
Levis played two seasons at Kentucky during Young's tenure at Alabama. The two watched each other from afar — Levis admiring Young's style of play. But on Sunday afternoon, Young will have his shot to beat Levis on the field. It is a matchup to watch between two teams well under .500, whose seasons have slipped off the rails yet again.
"I've definitely watched him from afar and been really impressed with his whole process, and he's a heck of a quarterback," Levis said of Young to the Associated Press. "Was really fun watching him, comparing myself to the other quarterbacks in the draft class. (He) did some great things on Saturdays. He's been doing some great things on Sundays."

Heading into the matchup, both rookie quarterbacks are 1-3 in their last four games.
Young is 83 of 137 for 716 yards with more interceptions (4) than touchdowns (3). He has also been sacked 20 times in that stretch.

Frank Reich has been on the hot seat due to Young's regression in recent weeks. Panthers ownership has repeatedly hinted that they want to see improvement if Reich is going to continue being the Panthers head coach.
But what hasn't helped has been the Panthers' offensive line, which keeps allowing Young to be hit continuously.
"He physically is one tough dude," Reich said. "Never wants to come out, can take hits. I think that's a credit to his physical toughness and his tenacity. Yeah, that's been week in and week out. He doesn't flinch."
Levis has six touchdowns and only two interceptions. The matchup of the quarterbacks will define whether the Titans or Panthers walk out of Week 12 with a win.
Panthers continue life without Jaycee Horn & CJ Henderson in Week 12
What was speculation is now official. The Carolina Panthers will be without their two most important cornerbacks for another week of football.
