Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Addison Nichols, a former four-star recruit during the 2022 recruiting cycle, entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month.

And he could be finding a new home in the SEC.

According to WholeHogSports.com, Nichols is set to visit Arkansas this weekend.

From WholeHogSports.com: Tennessee redshirt freshman offensive lineman Addison Nichols, who entered the NCAA transfer portal on Monday, is expected to arrive in Fayetteville late Friday night and will leave Sunday.

Nichols, 6-5 and 327 pounds, played in every regular-season game for the Vols in 2023 and had an overall-offense rating of 61.3, according to Pro Football Focus. He also played in two games as a freshman in 2022.

Nichols had a chance to play significant reps at center (when Cooper Mays was out to start the season) and left guard in 2023 for the Vols, but he was never able to take a stronghold on the job. The Georgia native, however, played 67 snaps in Tennessee's win against Vanderbilt to close the regular season.

If Nichols lands at Arkansas, he'll get a chance to play against the Vols next season as the Razorbacks host Tennessee on October 5.
