Dreaded mid-week injuries have given the Cincinnati Bengals problems this season, and Thursday may've brought on more.

Slot receiver Tyler Boyd (ankle) and rookie cornerback DJ Turner II (hamstring) popped up Thursday's injury report as limited.

Both players were not listed on Wednesday's projected injury report for the team's walkthrough.

It's unclear if their respective injuries occurred during practice or beforehand. In most cases, it's the former, which usually leads to missing practice the next day if the injury is bad enough. Cam Taylor-Britt was limited with an ankle injury in the second practice of last week, and he missed the final practice before being placed on the Reserve/Injured list.

We won't know more about Boyd and Turner until at least tomorrow when head coach Zac Taylor talks to the media one last time before Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Offensive tackle D'Ante Smith was the only Bengal to not practice at all, as he was out due personal reasons. Jonah Williams (back) remained limited along with linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither, defensive tackle B.J. Hill, and edge defender Sam Hubbard, whom all had partial rest days.

Rookie running back Chase Brown (hamstring) did go full after he was projected to be limited on Wednesday.
