The Indianapolis Colts improved to 6-5 on the year after their 27-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12.

A huge contributor to the team's win was none other than RB Jonathan Taylor

Taylor found the endzone twice on the day and helped the Colts ice the game late in the 4th quarter with multiple impressive runs. In recent performances, Taylor has looked like his old dominant self after dealing with an ankle injury for most of last season and early this year.

Taylor's Week 12 statline:

15 carries, 91 yards (6.1 ypc), 2 touchdowns

The Colts seem to be feeling more and more comfortable as each week passes to have Taylor operate as their lead back, with backup Zack Moss still having a role as well. What made Taylor's performance even more impressive was that it was against one of the most respected run defenses in the entire NFL, the Buccaneers.

Taylor became the first RB to score a rushing touchdown against the Buccaneers this season, and he decided to do it twice for good measure. He also rushed for the 2nd most yards that the Buccaneers have allowed this season. The Colts offensive line also deserves credit for their efforts, including backup center Wesley French who filled in for starter Ryan Kelly.

With the team's focus on a late-season playoff push, Taylor will have to play a big role in those efforts. And hopefully, Week 12 is the first of many Colts Player of the Week awards in Taylor's near future.
