It was an eventful morning for the Carolina Panthers after they suffered their 10th loss of the season on Sunday, falling to the Tennessee Titans.

With that, the Panthers announced that they have fired head coach Frank Reich before the end of his first year in Carolina.

Special teams coordinator Chris Tabor is set to take over as interim coach, while special advisor Jim Caldwell will move to Tabor's former position.

According to The Athletic's Diana Russini, owner David Tepper told "Reich weeks ago that he needed to see improvements on offense."

She further added that Tepper met with Reich and fired him on Monday, but the rest of the staff was waiting to hear. With the latest announcement from the Panthers social team, it seems that everyone has been told.

This is the second year in a row that Frank Reich was fired mid-season. This is also the third coach that Tepper has fired since taking over the team in 2018, also letting Ron Rivera and Matt Rhule go.

Let's see how they do under Tabor for the remainder of the season.
