The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly made a decision regarding a key player for Monday Night Football.

Per Tom Pelissero, Justin Jefferson will not play against the Chicago Bears on Monday.

Jefferson has not played since October 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Vikings opened Jefferson's 21-day practice window earlier this month, but the receiver has not been able to get to 100% just yet.

With the Vikings heading into a bye week after MNF, it's not surprising that the team would rather play it safe and let Jefferson rest up a little longer. The expectation is that the star receiver will be 100% for the Week 14 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Without Jefferson, the team will again rely on Jordan Addison and KJ Osborn at the receiver position. Joshua Dobbs has also formed a strong connection with tight end TJ Hockenson in Jefferson's absence.
