Darius Slay's wife, Jennifer, is fed up with the disrespect from Philadelphia Eagles fans.
During the Eagles' 33-13 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, Mrs. Slay took to Twitter/X to express how she feels about all of the hate toward her because of her husband.
"Lemme just get this out the way!! IDGAF what you gotta say but stop acting like I’m on the field. Like…I don’t understand. Leave me tf alone. Y’all be weird. I NEVER entertain this BS but enough is enough. Sh*t," Mrs. Slay wrote in a response to an Eagles fan.
She followed up her tweet with another.
"Real sh**…the amount of negativity I get is honestly sickening. I be tryna be so positive on this app and spread so much love for me to get so much hate. Sh*t makes no sense! It’s sad honestly!!! Smh," Slay wrote on X.
While Slay and the rest of the secondary had a rough night, they're not entirely to blame.
The offense didn't score a single touchdown and had three turnovers, including two in the red zone. Meanwhile, the defense had the only touchdown of the night — thanks to Fletcher Cox and Jalen Carter.
But no matter the Eagles' outcome, Mrs. Slay never deserves to be harassed online for it.
