Tommy DeVito, undrafted rookie, straight from New Jersey, embodies every single Italian stereotype known around the country. And the people love it. DeVito is taking his nicknames and places his ownership on them, while also creating food brands revolving around Italian cuisines.

There will be branded chicken, pasta, and pizza. Talk about taking a hot hand and running away with it.

Shouldn't DeVito just be worrying about playing the Eagles on Christmas, why does he care about his sauce brand so much?

I think this is a hint at DeVito may not be an idea for the Giants at quarterback in the future. No one is saying he is the best quarterback out there, but he is definitely talented and has the heart to play for this franchise. DeVito is taking his name while people are still talking about it, and trying to make money off of it.

Who can hate on that, its business, let the kid thrive. It's also a smart move: capitalize on the fame and notoriety now. Ultimately, yes, DeVito is an UDFA that looks more like a backup than a starter. The NFL will chew people up and spit them out, so it makes all the sense in the world to ride this wave while it's cresting.

DeVito is a great quarterback, and I think a good amount of Giants fans want a change at quarterback. With that being said, this sauce business seems like it could be an obvious answer that DeVito's future for the Giants will be at the QB2 position.
