The upcoming "Monday Night Football" encounter between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers will feature two quarterbacks who know quite a lot about winning.

Jackson boasts a 56-19 record in regular season play, and he has won at least 10 games in three different seasons. On the other hand, Purdy holds a 16-3 record in the regular season with the 49ers. The two 2023 NFL MVP contenders each have led their respective teams to 11 wins this year.

On Purdy's part, he has followed Jackson’s career for years now, and it amazes him just how much of an impact the sixth-year passer has already left on the Ravens organization.

"He’s a competitor," Purdy said during a press conference on Friday. "At the end of the day, he’s a winner. He’s gone into that place and just has given them life since he’s stepped foot there his rookie year.

"Obviously, his playmaking ability, being able to throw the ball and then just at the end of the day win, you’ve got to respect him and what he’s done. I was a big fan of his the last couple years when I was in high school and college watching him."

Jackson has had the last laugh in a multitude of crucial games in his career, but he has not celebrated a Super Bowl win. Taking into account just how he has been performing as of late, he sure has what it takes to guide Baltimore to the biggest game in the sport later this season.
