Cleveland Browns can deliver a late Christmas gift to fans next week on Thursday Night Football.

After defeating the Houston Texans, the Browns can clinch a spot in the playoffs Thursday when they host the New York Jets.

At 10-5 on the season, the Browns hold the No. 5 seed in the AFC and the top Wildcard spot.

Cleveland has lost just one game at home all season, so they will have that working for them. Kevin Stefanski is aware of the opportunity in front of them.

"I can't wait to get down there,” Stefanski said after the win over the Texans. “Our crowd's going to be unbelievable. We can earn it on Thursday."

In Stefanski’s first season with the Browns in 2020, Cleveland made the playoffs. The last two seasons were both missed playoff opportunities for Cleveland. That looks to be ending this season.

Going into Thursday, the Jets are 6-9 after defeating the Washington Commanders in Week 16.

Thursday is a big opportunity and one that the Browns will be favored in. If all goes to plan for Cleveland, expect a late Christmas gift.
