The 2023 NFL season has been a crazy one for the Cleveland Browns and Johnny Manziel has made it more interesting. Manziel had 1,675 passing yards and two seasons and he’s already set to be passed by Joe Flacco in what will be Flacco’s sixth game with the franchise.
Manziel took to X (formerly Twitter) to poke some fun at where he stands in Browns’ history.
Anyone who knows Manziel knows he likes to be the funny guy in the room. His NFL career fizzled out with less than a full season played in terms of career games. The former first-round pick has a 7-7 touchdown to interception ratio in his time as a pro.
Flacco has been the story of the season for the Browns who have won 11 games and are locked into a playoff spot in the AFC for the second time in four years.
Cleveland has hit a spark as of late with Flacco, who has connected nicely with both WR Amari Cooper and TE David Njoku.
Browns’ fans aren’t going to mind seeing Flacco pass Manziel in passing when he does because the memory of Cleveland beading a first-round pick on Manziel is very memorable.
