Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has made it abundantly clear that he's fed up.
For the second week in a row, Brown, a high-spirited guy who typically has a lot to say, refused to comment on the outcome of the game.
Sure, Brown wasn't upset with the media this time, though his recent post on X/Twitter following Week 16's win would suggest otherwise.
But nope. This week, Brown had bigger fish to fry and chose to keep his mouth shut.
“I’m not about to talk," Brown said following the Eagles' 35-31 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. "There’s nothing to talk about…It’s nothing towards y’all [the media] though, just to clear that up.”
Brown was held to just four catches for 53 yards in the Eagles' embarrassing loss to one of the worst teams in the league.
It gets worse knowing that Brown was targeted just once in the second half and the Eagles completely blew it on their second-to-last drive where their No. 1 receiver would have come in handy.
Brown has now gone five games without scoring a touchdown for the first time in his career. And he hasn't even gone over 100 receiving yards since Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers.
So, no, Brown isn't being a diva when he denies the media. He's also not being a bad teammate or player.
In fact, he's saying a lot more when he doesn't speak.
Brown will not come out and directly say it, but his recent body language and silence suggest that he's upset with the coaches and their playcalling.
Eagles' head coach Nick Sirianni has one more regular-season game to turn things around and take advantage of his top offensive weapon before Brown starts looking for a way out.
Although, it may already be too late.
