Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has finally broken his silence.

After refusing to speak to the media following the Eagles' last two outings, Brown spoke to reports in the locker room on Wednesday for roughly 12 minutes, according to NBC Sports' Dave Zangaro.

Brown shut down any narrative that his recent frustrations have had anything to do with head coach Nick Sirianni or his staff.

"I could tell you that there's maybe things that Nick wants to fix about himself, but one thing I can respect is loyalty is not one of them," Brown said. "And I say that because he takes up for us when it has nothing to do with him and he gets the blame, but that comes with his job. And sometimes, Jalen does the same thing. And just like Brian, he gets the wrong end of the stick sometimes when it be us."

Brown used the Eagles' loss to the Seattle Seahawks as an example where the final outcome was on the players, not the coaches.

"Like for the Seattle game, that was on us. We messed that up," Brown said. "We improvised and we went on our own and Nick came out and said, 'I wanted to try and get a flag,' or something crazy like that. Like, he really made himself look like a fool for us. I have nothing but respect for him. Not all coaches do that.

"We ride with Nick. We ride with Brian. We just gotta come out and try to play ball. That's all it is."

Brown reiterated that his reasoning for not speaking to the media had nothing to do with playcalling or his targets. He simply didn't want to feed more negative to the negative.

Despite that last few weeks, Brown remains confident in his team.

"There's highs and lows and you see the glimpses and so that's why I am like, we're right there," Brown said. "Despite everything. Despite everybody saying this or saying that, we're right there. And we know we are. And that's the only thing that matters. We know."
