It wasn't pretty, but the Philadelphia Eagles were able to pull themselves out of a three-game losing streak by taking down the New York Giants 33-25 on Christmas.

The Eagles turned the ball over twice and almost did a third time due to a bad snap from veteran center and captain, Jason Kelce.

Thankfully, Eagles' quarterback Jalen Hurts was quick to scoop it up and made a beautiful play to tight end Grant Calcaterra for a first down.

Still, Kelce isn't going to let himself or his teammates live down their almost costly mistakes.

“Sloppy game, obviously. I think that's very evident. Did some really good things on offense. Jalen played incredibly well at times. Wink's phenomenal.” Kelce told reporters after the game. “It's Week (16) right now. It's embarrassing to have too many guys on the field. I had a bad snap… It was a sloppy game overall. We played really well at times… A lot of really, really good things. But the mistakes, gross errors, penalties, kept them in the ball game.”

The Eagles are 11-4 heading into Week 17 and have only a few days to get things right before turning around to play the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.

“We know we have better football in us," head coach Nick Sirianni said after the loss.  To be 11-4, and know we have better football in us, that’s encouraging. But we’ve got to get there. To do the things we want to do, we can’t make those mistakes.”
