The Philadelphia Eagles are 11-4, en route to the playoffs and still in the hunt for the top seed in the NFC.
However, many fans remain upset with this Eagles team that isn't clicking on either side of the ball after 16 weeks of playing together, and may or may not have a locker room problem.
What fans probably are not thinking about is how their situation could be much worse.
In case you forgot, let me be the one to remind you: the Eagles were extremely close to giving up on Jalen Hurts and trading for quarterback Russell Wilson in 2022.
If it weren't for Wilson shooting down the deal, then the Eagles more than likely would have never made it to Super Bowl LVII and they definitely would not be in the not-so-bad playoff situation that they're in right now.
Wilson, who has been with the Denver Broncos for the last two seasons, has struggled to turn things around for the Mile High City. The Broncos went 5-12 with Wilson as their starter last year and currently sit at 7-8 on the season after losing to the (4-11) New England Patriots in Week 16.
Not to mention that they have a 6 percent chance of making the playoffs and Wilson has been benched in Week 17 for backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham.
Sure, the move has to do with dodging a financial burden, but it also has to do with the fact that the Broncos are more than ready to move on from Wilson after having him in Denver for less than two seasons.
You see, Eagles fans, it could be worse.
