Fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been blessed to watch some extremely talented players over the years. Between established guys like Mike Evans and Lavonte David to the greatest player of all time in Tom Brady, there has been a range of stars to ball out at recognizable positions for Tampa.

However, guys can have huge impacts on teams even if they don't touch the ball on every rep. One of Tampa's best players has been proving that for a while now.

Yes, even with teammates like Tom Brady, David, and Evans, Tristan Wirfs has been able to make a compelling case for himself as one of the best players on the Buccaneers. It is now time to ask if he has finally cemented himself as the best player at his position in the NFL.

Wirfs hasn't been able to hid during his professional career. How can you at that size?

After joining the Bucs during a Super Bowl run and dominating as rookie, Wirfs has been able to build on a stellar start to his career over the past few seasons. Now, Wirfs has taken the steps to up his legacy even more.

A shift from right to left tackle didn't seem like the best idea for Wirfs. The shift isn't as easy as many fans seem to think, but that hasn't slowed down the star tackle even a little bit. In fact, he is only playing better.

PFF obviously isn't gospel, but the fact remains that Wirfs has played like the best tackle in football this year, and play like this has even put Wirfs in that level that contains future Hall of Famers like Trent Williams (with Wirfs on top right now).

Is it time for the league to ask if Wirfs has taken the mantle from Willams? It just might be if play like this continues. 

You can't even argue it at this point-Wirfs is the best player on the Buccaneers right now and he is rocketing up the boards to take a place as one of the clear-cut best players in the league.
