The NFL has learned quickly in 2023 that it is Taylor Swift's world, but could it soon be Merianne Do's?
While social media was predictably giddy at news of Travis Kelce's reported new beau attending Sunday's game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers, it also emerged that Swift had competition for screen time at Arrowhead Stadium in the form of unexpected new viral star.
Chargers fan Do took the limelight away from her team and the Dallas Cowboys on Monday with her extremely enthusiastic reactions during Los Angeles' primetime loss in Week 6, landing her a swathe of interviews as the media dug into her backstory and some on social media even questioned her fandom.
But Do was back in full Chargers gear in Kansas City on Sunday and, just as every big play involving Kelce saw the cameras pan straight to Swift, they were also quick to find Do as Los Angles scored two touchdowns in the first half.
While the outcome of an intriguing AFC West matchup was very much in doubt heading into the half, it appears arguably the biggest star on the planet right now has a brand new rival.
