The Las Vegas Raiders made some important decisions before they got ready to play the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

They made some additions to their practice squad and even released from players from it too. Here is what the Raiders team account tweeted out on Tuesday:

We have signed LB Darius Harris and K James McCourt to the practice squad. Additionally, we have released TE John Samuel Shenker and LB Mykal Walker from the practice squad and have released TE Noah Togiai from the practice squad-injured list.

Walker had been on the practice squad for several weeks and was a guy who thought maybe he could be elevated eventually because of his raw talent and athletic ability.

As for the other moves, this is the first time the Raiders have placed a kicker on the practice squad, so that could be something to watch for with Daniel Carlson struggling with an injury last week.
