When the Buffalo Bills entered the season they had sky-high expectations to ultimately bring home the first-ever Super Bowl for the city.
In the past few weeks, the normally high-powered offense has faltered in a big way. Entering Week 8 of the 2023 NFL season, there are even some calling for Sean McDermott or Ken Dorsey to be removed from their positions.
We would be remiss to not mention that this team has been hit with one of the nastier injury bugs across the league, most of which take place on the defensive side of the football. Two All-Pro players, Tre'Davious White and Matt Milano appear to be lost for the season and one of the best defensive tackles in DaQuan Jones is also out.
Superstar QB Josh Allen opened up to the media with a candid response on what he believes the offense can do better moving forward. More specifically, like a true leader, Allen put the weight of the struggles on his shoulders and what he could do better to get this team back on track.
Allen opened up on the team's goals anytime they have the football on offense, "Every time we step on the field we want to score. Maybe it comes down to me, maybe I've been not enough of that on our team… We're going to get this done and this is how we're going to do it." He continued, "Instead of, let's play against the defenses' strengths. Let's figure out what our strengths are and play to those and make the defense play to our strengths."
Allen has been increasingly vocal after these brutal losses, opening up on his mindset and what the team needs to do better moving forward. Sometimes he's rather fiery as was shown in the last postgame press conference where Allen had few words for reporters and fired back almost every response.
While it's great that he's wearing this on his chest, the team just needs to be better and Allen fully understands that. Whether it's Allen taking the charge, Dorsey switching things up, or McDermott and the front office allowing Allen to play more hero ball, something needs to change.
Luckily, the team will have a chance to bounce back in a big way as they look to correct their offense against the Tampa Bay Buccanneers on Thursday Night Football.

The Buffalo Bills’ embarrassing loss to the New England Patriots may have just gotten worse with the latest Von Miller development.
