The Las Vegas Raiders were about to have to make a tough decision in Week 8, and now they don't have to. What was that hard decision? Well, it's easy, really, for us anyways.
Everyone, Raiders' media, fans, and anyone with eyes would have slated Aidan O'Connell as the starter or Sunday after Brian Hoyer's atrocious day against the Chicago Bears. However, are we not so sure the Raiders would have picked O'Connell?
They are known to make some pretty bad decisions, and that just has McDaniels written all over it. Jimmy Garoppolo saved him from making a bad decision.
On Friday, the Raiders injury report came out, and Garoppolo was a full participant after having several days of missed practice and limited practice from his back injury he suffered against the New England Patriots.
Being a full participant on Friday, with one more day of practice left, likely means he will be the starter on Monday. Garoppolo is easily the best quarterback of the three on the roster, even if he is barely an average quarterback, if you want to give him that title.
