The Chicago Bears were already having enough trouble with the Minnesota Vikings, but the situation became much heavier when star quarterback Justin Fields had to head to the locker room with an injury.

It looked like Fields was injured on a third down play. Two Vikings players landed on top of him and he was shaking his right hand as he walked off the field.

Undrafted free agent Tyson Bagent came into the game afterward, potentially signaling the end of Fields' day. The first drive of Bagent's career ended in a Josh Metellus strip-sack that was recovered by the Vikings and returned for a touchdown

The Bears offense had mustered 149 total net yards at the time of Fields' injury. The third-year QB had completed 6-of-10 passes for 56-yards and an interception, while adding 46 rushing yards on eight carries.

We'll provide more updates once they come in.

Update: It was reported during the broadcast that Fields' injury is a right hand injury. Per Bears Communications, Fields is out for the game.
