Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson is questionable to return to Sunday's game versus the New York Jets due to an ankle injury, according to NBC Sports' Dave Zangaro.
Johnson, who went down early in the first quarter while up against Jets' defensive end John Franklin-Myers, limped off of the field and headed to the blue medical tent before ultimately making his way to the locker room.
Johnson's early exit is a huge loss for the Eagles' offense considering he has not allowed a single sack since Week 11 of the 2020 season.
The three-time All-Pro right tackle was replaced by backup Jack Driscoll.
Johnson was later ruled out for the remainder of the game and head coach Nick Sirianni told NFL on FOX reporter Laura Okmin that they have "all the faith in the world" in Driscoll stepping up in his place.
