The Buffalo Bills are looking to bounce back after their devastating loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London last week. Devastating as the team lost both Matt Milano and DaQuan Jones for what could be the entire season, a brutal blow to the offense.
Now, the team is having a homecoming of sorts for New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll, the previous offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills. Additionally, Tyrod Taylor is back in Buffalo. Taylor helped break the drought for the Bills and we're anticipating a rather warm welcome, at least for when he runs out of the tunnel or warms up.
Injuries have been rearing their ugly head this season and the inactive report proves just that. A couple of key injuries will have Sean McDermott looking to deploy his "next-man-up" type approach.
Who is inactive for the Buffalo Bills
- S Damar Hamlin
- CB Dane Jackson
- LB A.J. Klein
- G Germain Ifedi
- T Alec Anderson
- TE Dalton Kincaid
Observations
Josh Allen and the offense are looking to have a bounce-back game against the struggling Giants unit. Expect a big day, once again, out of Stefon Diggs who has been thrown back into the national spotlight over another sideline outburst during last week's contest.
With the offense, they will be without one of their young playmakers as Dalton Kincaid is out for the matchup dealing with a concussion. While Allen and he haven't connected as much as the fans would like this season, it's a dynamic weapon off the table for the team looking to make a statement.
Outside of that, it's going to be interesting to see what McDermott does in the secondary, linebacker, and defensive line rotation for the matchup. With White, Milano, and Jones out, the team will lean on younger players like Dorian Williams, Tyrel Dodson, A.J. Epensa, Kaiir Elam, and Da'Marcus Ingram to name a few.
With Dane Jackson unable to compete in the contest, there is going to be a lot of pressure resting on the shoulders of whoever is lining up at cornerback. A brutal loss on both sides of the football.
If there was ever a time to bounce back, it'll be under the bright lights of 'Sunday Night Football' with the Bills Mafia roaring behind them. Regardless of the injuries, it's going to be electric.
Giants’ Brian Daboll has strong message for Josh Allen ahead of Sunday Night Football
The Buffalo Bills are looking to get back to their winning ways against their former offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. Before the contest, Daboll went viral.
