Eagles Players to Watch in Week 5

  • Jalen Carter: with Fletcher Cox (back) sidelined Carter is likely to play more than 50 percent of the snaps.
  • Bradley Roby: the Eagles elevated the former first-round pick for this matchup with plans to play him at nickel. We'll see if he can keep up with Rams' WR Cooper Kupp.
  • Sua Opeta: Starting right guard Cam Jurgens (foot) is on IR, so Opeta will be tasked with stopping Aaron Donald.
  • Dallas Goedert: Goedert hasn't made much of an impact on offense (aside from blocking) so look for him to get more targets.
  •  A.J. Brown: Brown will go up against Ahkello Witherspoon, who held Michael Pittman Jr. to a single reception for 15 yards in Week 4.
