The Tennessee Titans have a trip to London coming up. The team will play a "home" game against the Baltimore Ravens at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Week 6.

Typically, teams like to get to London early and get acclimated to the time zone difference. However, Mike Vrabel doesn't think that will be necessary for his team.

Instead, Vrabel and the Titans are opting to spend most of this week practicing in Nashville.

"We have everything we need here at the facility," explained Vrabel. "That's how we did it the last time, and I felt like we were ready to go. Just didn't end the way that we wanted it to."

Vrabel is referring to the last time the Titans played in London, which was a 2018 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Titans lost that game 20-19 after failing on a last-second two-point conversion attempt.

It is worth noting that the Buffalo Bills just used this same strategy last week. The Bills left late last Thursday for their Sunday morning London match against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bills allowed the Jaguars to collect almost 500 yards of offense en route to a 25-20 defeat.

London is six hours ahead of Nashville, so the time difference will take some getting used to. Ideally, you'd want your players to have as much time to adjust as possible. Vrabel clearly thinks the team will benefit more from spending as much time at home as possible.

Previous indicators suggest this will be the wrong decision. The Jaguars typically get to London early and settle in, and it has worked for the team this season. It will be interesting to see if the Titans can get over the jet lag and prepare to play just a couple of days later.
