It was well deserved for the rookie boot. Grupe has absolutely proven that he belongs as a starting kicker in the NFL.
The Saints infamously chose Grupe over veteran kicker Wil Lutz entering this season. Lutz has done fairly well in Denver, but the Saints are certainly still happy with their decision.
They believe they have their kicker of the future. Hopefully for New Orleans, this honor is one of many for the Grupe.
