The Tennessee Vols announced on Thursday morning that their game against the Texas A&M Aggies on October 14 will be a "Checker Neyland" game. 

Fans can check CheckerNeyland.com to what color they should wear for the game (based on which section they're sitting in). 

The Texas A&M game will mark the seventh time that Tennessee has Checkered Neyland, creating an Orange and White look in the stadium that mirrors the Vols' iconic checkerboard end zones. 

Unfortunately for Tennessee, the Vols have a losing record when fans Checker Neyland. The Vols are 2-4 in previous games when the stadium has been checkered.

The new Tennessee tradition started in 2014 via a fan-driven effort to checker the stadium. The Vols pulled if off for the first time on October 4, 2014 in a 10-9 loss to Florida.

A win against Texas A&M on October 14 would give the Vols their first win in a Checker Neyland game against an opponent not named Florida.
