The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a concerning injury during their penultimate training camp practice.

About 20 minutes before the conclusion of practice, Chiefs starting RT Jawaan Taylor left the field and headed up the hill from practice in the front of the cart. Beat reporters in attendance didn't spot what happened to him that led to him leaving the field.

Our friend Pete Sweeney (Arrowhead Pride, 810 Sports, and KSHB-TV) was the first to notice that something was afoot with Taylor.

Shortly after this observation, Taylor was escorted to the cart and left the field. After practice, it was revealed that Taylor suffered a shoulder injury.

NFL insider says Jawaan Taylor's injury is not overly concerning

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Chiefs RT Jawaan Taylor's shoulder injury isn't overly concerning. How he left practice on Wednesday would suggest as much, too.

Former third-round draft pick Lucas Niang filled in for Taylor during training camp practice on Wednesday. Wanya Morris was not participating in practice due to the knee bruise he suffered during Wednesday's practice last week, but it's reasonable to expect he would have filled in had he been available.
