On Monday Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs left practice early with the team said was a leg injury. Later in the night we got an update from NFL Insider Adam Schefter that said it was a hamstring injury for Gibbs. That's where things have been left since then because there was no media access on Tuesday.

On Wednesday Lions' head coach Dan Campbell went on Costa & Jansen with Heather on 97.1 The Ticket and gave a pretty optimistic update on Gibbs' injury.

"Two days ago, like my phone's blowing up. I got all these people hit me up, 'man, what happened to Gibbs?' All these reports are out, and I'm like, 'Okay.' So anyway, I think we're going to be fine here. Alright. I think we'll be good."

So there's that. Not a lot of information, but a really optimistic answer. That feels like good news for the Lions.
