Fans have not been able to buy rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison's jersey and that isn't likely to change anytime soon.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the NFLPA has advised all parties involved that they are not permitted to sell his jerseys at this time.
During the first round of April's NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals were praised for their selection of Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. He was viewed by many as the best prospect in the class. He is set to pair with quarterback Kyler Murray for upward of a decade.
While the praise was there for his selection across the board, not being able to sell his jersey has been a problem. When you have a tremendous talent like Harrison, fans are going to want to buy his jersey.
The situation has been going on for some time, including Fanatics, the distributor of NFL jerseys, suing Harrison for breach of contract. Now, Harrison has signed his NFLPA group licensing agreement but the lawsuit seems to be preventing any jerseys from being sold.
This is a story that has been developing for the better part of six months and there is no end in sight right now, which is awful for the fans.
