We all know that the Las Vegas Raiders are very expensive in terms of trying to go see a game or multiple games every single year. In fact, advanced research shows that they are the most expensive team in the league in terms of gamedays for a family of four.
But, because the fan base is so great – the best one in the league, the Raiders decided to do something that would show their appreciation to the fan base.
Obviously, the Raiders are expensive to see in person, and even attending training camp in Southern California can be a high price too. So, the Raiders decided to do something really, really cool.
They tweeted out, with an Antonio Pierce quote tweet, that the team is hosting two open practices at Allegiant Stadium on August 14 and 20 at 6 p.m. The practices will be free and open to the public, and fans can register for tickets on the team website.
This is going to allow fans who normally can't afford to watch the Raiders during the season, to get there to watch them. And, there won't be a small number of limited tickets, as Allegiant Stadium, if they open the whole stadium to fans, holds 65 thousand.
The Raiders did not have to do this, but it will sure make some of the fan base extremely excited.
