The latest College Football 25 ratings drop whetted our whistle for the game to drop next week. The top-100 player ratings were released, and our eyes naturally went to the quarterback position. Let's look at the eight quarterbacks who landed a 90 overall rating or higher.

College Football 25 Top QB Ratings

With the gameplay deep dives and more specific features revealed recently, the last major hurtle that hungry College Football 25 players wanted to see is the roster ratings. Whether you're looking for your favorite team or which program to build in dynasty, using one of these 90+ rated quarterbacks can help.

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado: 93

This is probably the ranking that will ruffle some feathers. Shedeur Sanders is my top QB in the 2025 NFL Draft, but that doesn't mean he's the best college football passer. His terrific accuracy, solid athleticism, and high awareness are reflected in his overall.

However, this somewhat feels like the game hyping up a high-profile star who won't post the biggest numbers or overcome a limited supporting cast to be relevant beyond October.

Carson Beck, Georgia: 93

Tied with Sanders is Carson Beck. The consensus top QB in next year's draft class, it's an easier argument to make Beck the best College Football 25 passer. He's incredibly efficient, avoids mistakes, has a good arm, and more athleticism than some might think.

Ultimately, Beck is a very high-floor collegiate quarterback and that matters for these ratings more than draft outlook. His physical traits stand above some of his peers, so I think they got it right to have him above the others.

Quinn Ewers, Texas: 92

A terrific pocket passer who can spin the ball better than anyone in the country, it's not surprising Quinn Ewers ranks within the top four QBs. Ewers is coming off a College Football Playoff run and performed well on big stages. While there's a ton I'd like to see Ewers improve upon, most notably handling pressure, his physical traits are there to take the leap.

No quarterback has the same level of accuracy and ball control as Ewers does. He should be frustrating to play against and sometimes play as because of his limitations and tendencies. They got this one right.

Dillon Gabriel, Oregon: 92

Okay, here's where the inflection of a very good college talent and mediocre NFL prospect meets. Some will be upset that a QB who projects as a mid-round, backup-caliber talent is higher than more gifted athletes. But Dillon Gabriel is one of the most experienced and accomplished passers in college football's history.

Expect to see Gabriel play better in 2024 at Oregon than he did at Oklahoma in 2023. Even with an average arm, he is a fantastic deep passer with a knack for making big plays on a whim.

Jalen Milroe, Alabama: 90

Gifted with elite athleticism, including 91 speed and 93 acceleration, playing against Jalen Milroe will be an absolute nightmare. This is a proper rating, as there was a point late last fall where Milroe was the best player in the nation. His physicality and raw traits overwhelmed the SEC as his passing improved.

That last part will be the key to just how overpowered Milroe is in this game. He's an inconsistent passer but he's also not a scattershot. He has moments of good touch and understanding of where to put the ball, so Milroe might actually be the best QB to play as in the game.

Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss: 90

Efficient, athletic, and experienced, Jaxson Dart is someone on everyone's radar this fall. Expectations are high, and this rating reflects that. I think he's a bit overrated based on his actual impact on games, though.

Sure, Dart has a good arm and manages Lane Kiffin's offense well. He is capable of gashing defenses with his running ability. However, are fan bases every really afraid of facing Dart? I don't know. Maybe this is the year.

Jalon Daniels, Kansas: 90

Last season's back injury abruptly ruined what should've been a massive season for Jalon Daniels. I love that he's earned respect with this rating. Daniels is a highly effective and smart thrower, avoiding turnovers while maximizing chunk plays downfield.

His 88 speed and 90 acceleration seems a little generous, as Daniels is a good but not elite athlete. He wants to throw and is great at it. While this is a good rating, the allocation of his ratings might make him too overpowered, especially next to Devin Neal.

Kaidon Salter, Liberty: 90

Those who aren't familiar with the best Group of 5 QB in the nation will be with this rating. Kaidon Salter is a great runner, accurate, and has above-average arm strength for a college passer. But his blend of those skills creates huge plays with ease, and his gamer attitude goes beyond his traits.
