Disaster struck on Sunday when news of a passing came to light for the NFL world.

Jones finished his NFL career with 203 receptions, 2,733 yards, and 14 receiving touchdowns. He also had 4,940 yards as a kick return specialist, including five touchdown returns. He added 2,688 yards and four touchdowns as a punt return specialist.

Former Saints WR Donte Stallworth reacted to the news on social media

Stallworth says that he trained with Jones in New Orleans. He admired his commitment and expectations for himself.

The former Saints receiver notes that Jones planned to make an impact at the NFL level. He certainly did, both on offense on special teams. You may know him best for his performance in Super Bowl XLVII.

Jones grabbed a 56-yard touchdown reception from Joe Flacco in the second quarter and opened up the third quarter of the game with a 108-yard kickoff return, which still stands as the longest play in Super Bowl or postseason history.

All in all, it is a painful loss for many people and organizations around the league.
