It looks like Brown, who was part of a disappointing 2023 Eagles season, is on a mission to prove the haters wrong this year by working extra hard in the gym.

A Lot Expected from Brown in 2024

A lot will be expected from Brown this upcoming season after he signed a three-year, $96 million contract extension last month, a deal that now keeps him in Philly until 2029.

Brown, 26, will be 32 by the time his contract is up. That's right around the age that NFL wide receivers typically call it quits, which is perfect for Brown considering he hopes to retire an Eagle.

"When I hang my cleats up, it's gonna be in that uniform right there," he told reporters after officially signing his contract. "I'm not, like, ready for it to be over with, but that's the goal. I think my career took off when I got here. I went to another level. It feels right. My family's here. My girl started school again here. I got teammates, their kids, I want them to grow up together."

Since the Eagles traded the Tennessee Titans for Brown back in 2022, he's hauled in a total of 194 receptions for 2,952 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. He's also made back-to-back Pro Bowls and earned two second-team All-Pro nods.

And while this past season was overall devastating for the Eagles, Brown still set the new single-season franchise record for most receptions by a wide receiver with 106. He also became the first Eagles wide receiver in franchise history to log 1,200 or more yards in back-to-back games with 1,456, breaking his own 2022 record. Additionally, Brown broke the NFL record by posting at least 125 yards through six straight games last season.

"This is home. This is home," Brown said. "There's going to be some good days, there's going to be some bad days, but this is home. I've been loving it. This is the best town there is, man. The support is just through the roof. Away games, home games. Away games feel like home games. … The support system is unmatched. I'm loving it."
