The New Orleans Saints love them some Taysom Hill. The fans do, too. In 2024, could we see a new role for Taysom? The team's new, more modern offense may use his skill set in even more unique ways.
Taysom Hill is taking snaps at fullback during 2024 OTAs.
Hill's role in Klint Kubiak's offense is one of the most underrated storylines of the Saints offseason.
There's no player in the league quite like him, and Kubiak comes from the San Francisco 49ers. Kyle Juszczyk is the best fullback in football and was a key piece to his offense on the West Coast. Hill probably won't solely play from that spot, but seeing him take steps there is still a new experience for New Orleans.
Anytime the Saints can get the ball into Taysom's hands, big things can happen.
His physicality and speed combo plays at the NFL level, and he also has the passing ability as well. That part of his game is not polished, but New Orleans has not been afraid to test defenses down the field with his arm in years prior.
Now, with new play-calling for the Saints, it will be really intriguing to see where they get him involved. Don't be shocked to see him at fullback on the goal line or in other short yard situations.
