John Calipari hasn't officially left Kentucky for Arkansas yet, but the deal is expected to be completed at some point on Tuesday, which means the Wildcats' search to replace Calipari can soon officially begin.

And when the search does begin (officially), there are three big names that won't be involved.

Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nate Oats tweeted on Monday evening that he's not leaving Tuscaloosa.

"I am fully committed to this team and to this University," wrote Oats on Twitter/X.com. "We have already accomplished some great things here, and there is nothing I want more than for The University of Alabama to win its first national championship in men's basketball. Despite any rumors to the contrary, rest assured that l will continue that pursuit as your head coach."

Former Villanova head coach Jay Wright, who retired in 2022, also confirmed on Monday evening that he's not interested in replacing Calipari at Kentucky.

UConn head coach Dan Hurley, who led UConn to their second straight national championship on Monday night, told The Athletic that he also has no interest in replacing Calipari.

Several big names are still out there as options for Kentucky, including Auburn's Bruce Pearl and Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan.
