The Saints selected Penn State offensive tackle Olumuyiwa Fashanu and South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette in Destin Adams' latest mock draft for A to Z Sports.

The Saints are another team that could go in a lot of different directions with this pick. I considered WR, and DL here as well before landing on Penn State's Olumuyiwa Fashanu. Fashanu's health has caused him to fall down many people's boards during the draft cycle, but his production shouldn't be ignored. On tape, he is the clear best pass blocker in this stacked OT class. And while the Saints need to figure out their long-term QB in the coming years, I think Fashanu can be a staple for their offense for years to come.

Fashanu is a home run pick for New Orleans. I've detailed his pro-ready skillset before, and the Saints need a tackle that can step in and play immediately, ideally.

Ryan Ramczyk's future is cloudy, and the opposite tackle spot is even cloudier. In fact, there's a thunderstorm over there with no clear starter.

Legette is a prospect with X-receiver measurables. Former Pro Bowl NFL WR Steve Smith Sr. is a big fan of his game. We'll see if he stays on the board till 45th overall.

He'd fit in nicely with the Saints wideout group, too. They need a big-bodied, contested catch player with the departure of Michael Thomas. A.T. Perry is a nice depth piece, but they cannot solely rely on him as that sort of target. Cedrick Wilson was a solid veteran add, but Legette provides much more upside.

The trio of Olave, Shaheed, and Legette would do wonders for Derek Carr at quarterback.

All in all, Adams knocked this mock out of the park for the Saints. Starting their draft class off this way would be ideal for the roster.
