The Denver Broncos have announced they will wear new uniforms for the 2024 season and beyond. They are rebranding, kind of. The franchise is keeping the same name, location, color scheme, and logo. But it's changing the design of the uniforms for the third time in franchise history.
A lot of fans wanted to go back to the old blue and orange with the big D letter on the helmet, but the franchise wanted to stay with what they have, which helped stay relevant with all of the winning the franchise has done. They didn't do much winning and actually lost a lot of Super Bowls in the original uniforms, even though they are pretty iconic.
On Tuesday, the franchise announced via a Twitter post that the new uniforms will be released on April 22, 2024.
Knowing how the NFL is, and seeing how the Houston Texans' uniform situation played out this offseason, there will likely be leaks of the uniforms before the official announcments. Last season the Broncos brought out the white helmets. Maybe we see those stay, maybe we see that become the official helmet.
Either way, with the franchise being in a rebuild for the last eight years, it's a good thing they are doing something new to excite the fan base.
