Fans and media members in attendance for the annual CinemaCon 2024 event in Las Vegas, Nevada got a nine-minute preview of the upcoming Marvel blockbuster "Deadpool & Wolverine." It's the first R-rated Marvel film and you could get a sense of that from the nine minutes of footage. According to Fandango's Erik Davis, the Los Angeles Rams even caught a stray at the end of that preview.
The final moments of the preview saw the two title characters Deadpool and Wolverine — played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, respectively — traveling together in a vehicle. Deadpool roasts Wolverine for his classic yellow and blue spandex super-suit.
“Friends don’t let friends dress like they play for the Los Angeles Rams," Deadpool exclaims.
A good retort from Wolverine might have been, "Actually, friends don't let friends dress as if they play for the Arizona Cardinals."
I don't think Logan is that quick on his feet to dish out that type of comeback. Both heroes probably could wear something more practical, but where is the fun in that?
You can catch the full movie when it hits theaters this Summer on July 26.
