Lions defensive backs Kerby Joseph, Terrion Arnold, Ennis Rakestraw and Loren Strickland paired up with Chiefs defensive back, and Detroit native, Nic Jones to work out with skills trainer Jacory "1way" Nichols.
A few things to notice here. The first being how about these rookies putting in extra work? Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw seem to be attached at the hip these days. Where you see one, you see the other. That's great for a duo that looks to be playing together for a long time.
Undrafted rookie safety Loren Strickland continues to put in the work. It would have been easy to go home, but he stayed in town to do extra work to try to improve his game. That's the kind of thing that coaches notice.
Nic Jones, who played at Southfield High School and now plays for the Chiefs was actually Strickland's teammate at Ball State in 2022. It's a small world we live in.
Nichols has been working with NFL defensive backs all summer. Some of his clients recently consist of Kamari Lassiter, Mike Sainristil, Jalen Pitre and DJ Turner. Nichols also worked with Arnold and Rakestraw ahead of the draft too. We probably haven't seen the last of him in Detroit.

It might have been one of their best sneakily done moves of the offseason because Strickland has a lot of what the Lions look for on […]
