Tennessee Vols head coach Tony Vitello was all over social media on Monday night after his program's College World Series-clinching win against the Texas A&M Aggies.

Just after the Vols beat Texas A&M to claim the program's first national championship, Vitello spoke live with ESPN.

Shortly into the interview, Vitello realized he was on the stadium's jumbotron, which startled him and caused him to curse on live television.

"Holy s–t, I'm on the damn [scoreboard]," said an obviously excited Vitello.

Multiple Tennessee players then emptied a gatorade cooler on Vitello, abruptly ending the interview in the process as the Vols' head coach celebrated with various players.

What a night for the Vols. The goal all season for this team was to win every game until there were no more games left to play. And that's what they did on Monday night in Omaha, ending the 2024 season as national champions.
