It's great to hear a rookie quarterback discussing trying to truly take perfect reps. Derek Carr has noted the specific aspirations from the new staff as well. They are pushing every player to be as close to perfect as physically possible.

Carr has been impressive so far in camp, according to many sources
Rattler worked with the second-string offense ahead of QB Jake Haener on Wednesday. That's the first time the Saints have worked the quarterbacks in that order in sessions open to media.

The young quarterback has shown rookie bruises in practice so far for the Saints. That's to be expected. Regardless, it's a good sign for him to retain his confidence and drive to improve.
Rattler and Haener are both competing for the backup QB job for New Orleans. Dennis Allen sees it as a competition that will last through the preseason. Plenty of important reps on the horizon for both quarterbacks in the coming months.
