Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs spent four seasons playing in the SEC, so he knows all about loud stadiums.

From Florida to Georgia to Alabama, Dobbs has played in front of some hostile crowds. He also experienced some extremely loud crowds at Neyland Stadium (like the Oklahoma game in 2015).

NFL stadiums aren't known for getting quite as loud as SEC stadiums, but there are still some pretty loud venues in the league.

Dobbs, who signed a free agent deal with the San Francisco 49ers earlier this offseason, recently discussed the loudest NFL stadiums he's played in during an appearance on The Victory Degree Podcast.

"Seattle was loud, but we played them at 1:00 PM when I was in Arizona — it was kind of dreary [and] rainy, which I know it rains there a lot," said Dobbs. "But it wasn't like crazy loud if that makes sense. But it was a nice stadium. I'm not talking smack to any Seahawks fans that see this. I'm just giving my perspective.

"The loudest ones I've heard — like, Kansas City rocks. Playoff game in Kansas City, that stadium rocks. Pittsburgh's a great environment — I haven't played in it from an opposing side. But from a home side, that's a loud stadium. I played away versus Minnesota, then obviously this year, in Minnesota. That's probably one of my favorite places. That place rocks. The indoor, the skol chant, everything. That place gets going. And then the faithful, it's rocking in San Fran. We played — I think we were 1:00 PM — and they kind of started quick. I think two touchdowns on the first two drives and we went back on the field and that place got rocking. So those are probably like my top four or five places I've enjoyed playing."

Dobbs will get to experience a night game in Seattle this fall when the 49ers take on the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football on October 10. The former Vol might have a different take on the Seattle crowd after that matchup.
