One of the Tennessee Vols' 2025 recruiting targets revealed on Thursday when he plans to commit.
2025 four-star tight end DeSaahn Brame told On3's Chad Simmons that he plans to announce his commitment on June 29.
Tennessee, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and Oregon are the four programs in the mix to land Brame.
The Vols will receive an official visit from Brame on June 13. Oregon will get an official visit on June 21, which is Brame's final scheduled official visit before he makes his decision public.
Oregon is viewed as the favorite to land Brame, though the Vols have made a strong impression on the talented tight end.
Brame, 6-foot-6/235 lbs from Derby, KS, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 4 tight end in the nation and the No. 4 player in the state of Kansas. He's also rated as the No. 99 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
The fact that Oregon is receiving the final official visit before Brame's commitment probably doesn't bode well for Tennessee's chances in this recruiting battle. But a great visit to Knoxville on June 13 could make Brame's decision a bit tougher.
Tennessee currently has nine players committed to its 2025 recruiting class, including four-star tight end Jack Van Dorselaer, the No. 13 tight end in the nation.
